Who We Are
Musiqa is a contemporary music group that takes a fresh look at the concert experience. We create events which combine dance, poetry, theatre, film and the visual arts with the finest modern repertoire. Our season includes a series of exciting multi-arts performances in downtown Houston, free "loft" concerts at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston and an educational program that has been seen by nearly 20,000 public school students. Musiqa's programs have been recognized by awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Aaron Copland Fund and the Argosy Foundation and have been featured on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered."
