Emerging Composer Fellowship Application

Musiqa is accepting applications for the Emerging Composer Fellowship for the 2019-20 season. The program identifies promising artistic talent and provides mentoring from acclaimed Houston area composers, and professional opportunities in an innovative contemporary music chamber ensemble.

The following submissions are required to be considered for the Emerging Composer Fellowship.

• 2 Scores or Excerpts (PDF format only) with accompany recordings (MP3 format only),
  each under 5 minutes in length
• A resume or CV (PDF format only) with full contact information.

Total size of attachments must not exceed 20MB. Please name your files with the following convention “<LastNameFirstInitial>_FileName.PDF/MP3”

Applications and submissions must be received by September 1, 2019. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Selection of the composer fellow will be announced no later than September 15, 2019.
